Marguerite Jean Smith

Born January 17, 1933 in New Westminster BC, Jean entered into rest at 89 years old, on December 29, 2022 in Langley, BC.

Jean is predeceased by her loving husband of 61 years, Ron.

She is survived by brother Bill Forrest, daughters Diane Anderlini, Lyn (James) Smith, grandchildren; Travis (Colleen) Anderlini and Amanda (Dave) Blaquiere, great grandchildren; Jaime, Troy, Lauren, Justine, Olivia and Angeline and close family friend Gene Anderlini. Jean also leaves behind many friends, nieces and nephews.

Jean was known for her many years of work as the manager of Kathy’s Dress Shop in Langley, being a talented seamstress, quilter, knitter and artist as well as a doting gramma and great gramma.

Following a private service, the family would like to invite you to Jean’s Celebration of Life at Henderson’s Langley Funeral Home (20786 Fraser Highway, Langley) on January 13, 2023, at 12:00pm.

The family would like to thank Ludy from Comfort Keepers and the nurses, caregivers and doctors at Marwood Long Term Care for their love and care of Jean.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to BC Children’s Hospital Foundation in Jean‘s memory.
