Kenneth James Maguire

It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Ken Maguire on January 27, 2016 at the age of 56 in Burnaby, BC. Ken was born on September 26 1959 in Prince Rupert to Astrid Maguire. Ken spent his childhood years in Prince Rupert. Ken’s career ambitions gave him the opportunity to experience different parts of Canada with his family; Gibsons, BC, Winnipeg, MB, Burlington, ON, Prince George, BC and finally calling Burnaby BC home for the past 11 years. Ken was at the perfect point in life where he enjoyed getting up and going to work with the Vancouver Park Board.

Ken will be remembered most for his kind heart, twinkle in his eye and love for his family and friends.

Predeceased by his mother Astrid Maguire, Ken is survived by his two brothers Don (Pam), Ron (Lynne), his daughters Jeneah (Aidan) and Kortni (Joel) and his 4 grand daughters Raeya, Addysen, Lyleigh and Maelle.

A celebration of Ken’s life will be held at 1pm Saturday February 27th at VanDusen Gardens in Vancouver.
