John Edward Muench

Sadly, Jack passed away Dec. 2, 2013 surrounded by his family. Predeceased by brothers Bill and Alf Trattle, Ben and Lorrie Muench and sister Heather Pankowitz. He is survived by Patricia (wife), son Lorrie (Pat), daughters Kelly Riome (Arthur) and Jill Muench, grandchildren Lauren, Ben, Del, Colton, Brodie, Raven and Sierre, sisters Viola Fredslund and Joy Hassell (Jerry) and brother Claude Muench (Darlene).

Jack was born and raised in Fort Langley. He graduated from LHS in 1947 and worked briefly for a bank in Vancouver after graduation. He returned to Langley, drove the local taxi for a while and continued commercial fishing with his troller/gillnet boat until he was 83 years old. He had an engaging personality that kept people on their toes. He will be truly missed. No service by request.
