Beloved mother, sister, aunt, and friend passed away peacefully in her sleep after complications due to her right leg ischemia and resulting sepsis. Jane was born in the Netherlands during the Dutch Hunger Winter of 1944-1945 and she later suffered from schizophrenia and bipolar disorders.

Although Jane resided in group homes, she still managed to live life on her own terms, she found joy in the "little things" and she had a kind, generous heart. Jane enjoyed listening to music, she would often sing, or was heard quoting the Bible. 

Jane most especially enjoyed her cigarettes, coffee, Stroopwafeln, Zoute drops, and occasional fish and chips. She had a gregarious laugh, a quirky sense of humor, and she delighted in feeling pretty and smelling nice. In her earlier years, she was fond of painting, as well as sunbathing in her bikini.

Jane is survived by her elder siblings Dick, Bill, and Anne, and her younger sibling John, She is also survived by her two children Patricia and Ron, as well as several nieces and nephews. We loved Jane dearly, although we are at peace knowing that she is no longer suffering. 

May God rest her soul and may she know eternal peace and love.
