James "Ted" Edgar Ross

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of James “Ted” Ross, born January 5, 1942, who peacefully departed on June 5, 2024. Ted was predeceased by his beloved mother Isabelle Adams and his in-laws Bessie and Harry Peacock. He leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion to his family.

Ted was the cherished father of two children, son Robert (Patricia) and daughter Lisa-Joy. He shared 63 wonderful years of marriage with his loving wife Sandra Ross. Ted will be deeply missed by his grandchildren Sarah, Sandra (Jeff), Nikki, and Jim (Alysha), as well as his 7 great-grandchildren, including Rex, Titan, Bruin, Drakor, Abigail, Ella, and Theo. His memory will also be carried on by numerous nieces and nephews whom he adored.

During his life, Ted served his country honorably in the army for 5 years. He was a talented musician, bringing joy to many with his melodies. Ted dedicated over 30 years to working with Handydart, where he touched the lives of countless individuals with his kindness and reliability, in addition to his years spent working on pipelines and oil rigs. Ted had a deep love for animals, which brought him much joy throughout his life.

A devout Christian, Ted lived his life with faith and compassion. He had an incredible sense of humor that brightened the lives of all who knew him. Above all, Ted was a loving grandfather who was deeply cherished by his family and friends.

Though he may have departed from this world, Ted’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known him.
