It is with profound sadness that the family of Else announces her peaceful passing in her sleep the morning of September 23,2024.
Else immigrated from Germany in 1951. With her husband, Henry (deceased), they owned a dairy farm in Aldergrove they farmed until the early 1970’s before retiring to Abbotsford to be closer to their children and grandchildren. Else had four children, Karl, Ursula(deceased), Margarette & Hilda. 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren & 2 great-great grandchildren. Else’s children and grandchildren will forever cherish the memories of cards games played by Oma’s rules and the love she showed with all the delicious meals and baked goods she would serve with every visit.
A Funeral Service for Elsie will be held Wednesday, October 2, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Lutheran Church-Immanuel, 3232 272 St, Langley Township, BC V4W 3H6.
Following the Funeral Service will be a Graveside Service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Hazelwood Cemetery, 34070 Hazelwood Ave, Abbotsford, BC V2S 7R1.
