Dirk Stein

Our beloved Dirk passed away very unexpectedly. He was born in Korbach, Germany and emigrated with his family in 1978 to Canada, living in Calgary.

Trained to be a licensed Aircraft Technician, Dirk worked in Toronto and Vancouver for 30 years.

Dirk was a selfless man who always went above and beyond the call to help others.

He is predeceased by his father Siegfried. Dirk and Gudrun were married for 21 years and he is survived by her, their daughter Janelle, sons Karl and Emil, his mother Gertraud, and his brother Andreas and family.

Dirk was very much loved and is deeply missed, but we know he is in the arms of Jesus and we will see him again.

His celebration of life will be on Nov. 10, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Cloverdale Baptist Church at 18685 64th Ave. Donations can be made in Dirk's name, in lieu of flowers, to Samaritan Purse at 1-800-663-6500.
