Dennis Lyle Simpson was born on March 12, 1951 in Moose Jaw Saskatchewan. He lived his 71 years from the farm in Darmody Saskatchewan to Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver with a few stops in-between. He spent the last 21 years back in beautiful BC close to his family and his new grandchildren. On those travels, even around Langley during the short time he was here, he made wonderful friendships, influenced and supported people and made an indelible impression. He was passionate about doing the right thing, lifting people up, helping to encourage conversation and debate. Dennis was a tremendously supportive husband, a loving father and grandfather, brother and a good friend to so many people. His glass was always half full…
Dennis was a story teller (and yes, perhaps he told the same story more than once!). Stephanie and I encourage all the special people in Dennis’s life to share, here, special moments they’ve had with Dennis, to retell stories he was so fond of and to post pictures of special times. He’ll love being reminded of each and every one and will laugh with us…
