David John Lange

Survived and lovingly remembered by his wife Lynda (nee Heppler) of 43 years. The love of his life was his wife and their three children and seven grandchildren.

Daughter Kristi Lange (James Kim) grandchildren Maya and Adam, their father Michael Hunter. Daughter Lisa Lange (Wade Simmons) grandchildren Eliot and Sadie. Son Cory Lange (Dayna Sorensen Lange) their three children Brooklyn, Zackary and Andersen.

He will be sadly missed by his sister Joan Streuber and her two daughters Jasmine and Courteny (James Morin) and Joan’s grandchildren Damon, Jada Streuber and Sullivan Morin all of Calgary. Dave will also be missed by his brother Arthur Lange of Oakville Ontario (Jackie Northcott) and their two daughters Kelsey and Kendra Lange.

Dave was predeceased by son baby Matthew Harold Lange in August 1976 who passed prematurely. He was predeceased by his parents, father Walter Lange in 1983 and his mother Marjorie Lange Hackenschmidt in 1998.

Dave was beloved by all member’s of Lynda’s family including brother-in-laws Bryan Heppler (Vivian) Murray Heppler (Trish) and Joanne Hocevar (Mario) and all their children.

Dave passed on a strong work ethic to his children as well as love of nature. He loved his job with BC Hydro and always said “if you can find a job you love you will never work a day in your life.” He was planning a retirement that was not meant to be as he was called home.

A celebration of life will be held Wednesday May 17th 2017 at the Newlands Golf and Country Club, Langley BC.

In lieu of flowers a donation in Dave’s memory to the BC Burn Fund (burnfund.org) would be greatly appreciated.
