Christina Lee Innes

On the morning of August 18, 2022, Christy Innes passed away peacefully at home at the age of 48. She leaves behind her husband Sandy Innes and children Nolan Premack, Camryn Innes, and many relatives.

Christy was born on September 21, 1973, in New Westminster to Richard and Linda Vael. She grew up in North Delta and was a competitive figure skater, swimmer and played soccer at a rep level. Christy loved to compete and faced every challenge head on. She used this passion to battle strongly against her cancer until the very end. She was an inspiration to her family and friends through her difficult journey.

Christy dedicated her life to being a fantastic and wonderful mother for her family. She continually put her family first and supported her kids through various sports and hobbies. There was nothing more important to Christy than her family. Christy – a loving wife, committed mother, grandma, sister and daughter – could always be found with an infectious smile on her face no matter the circumstances. Christy made it her mission to improve peoples’ lives and help others.

Christy enjoyed traveling, baking, exercising, nature and spending time with family and her friends, who she cared so dearly about. Christy enjoyed hosting and was always willing to open her home to friends, family and her children’s sports team for gatherings.

We were extremely blessed to have Christy in our lives. We are thankful for the memories created during her time with us and know that her profound legacy will live on forever.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, September 7th, 2022, at 11 am at Newland Golf and Country Club, 21025 48 Ave, Langley, BC.
