Vernon E. “Eddie” Shifflett, age 76, passed away on June 13, 2023. Eddie was a US Military Veteran, worked at Eastside Nursery for 22 years and 15 years at Fairfield Medical Center. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Rose Shifflett; brother, Kenneth (Joyce) Shifflett; sisters, Debbie (Dave) Green, Carol Lisica and Karen Figley. Eddie and Rose had four children, son, Baby Eddie (deceased), daughter, Lora (Gary) Davis, daughter, Tina (Eli) Cordle and son John (Melissa) Shifflett. They had 11 grandchildren, Lynette (Chad) Gordon, Timothy Davis, Mifflin, Richard and James Manley, Jendra Aliff (Chris) Christian, Jacob, Nicholas, Emma (deceased) and Reese Shifflett; six great grandchildren, Emily, Gwen, Micah and Lydia Gordon, Rose and Lorelie Manley.
A visitation for Eddie will be held Saturday, June 17, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home Lancaster, Ohio 43130. Following the visitation will be a burial at 1:00 PM at Floral Hills Memory Gardens, Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
