Tammy Jane Eckard, 59 of Pleasantville, passed away on Thursday, May 26th, 2022 at the Fairfield Medical Center. Tammy was born in Lancaster, Ohio to the late Harold and Edith Pugh. She was a hardworking woman that loved to garden and take care of animals. Tammy was affectionately known as the “Cat Lady” by those that knew her.
Tammy is survived by her husband, Sammie Eckard; son, Jeremiah Eckard; brother, Dayton Pugh; nephew, Chris Pugh; as well as many other loving family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Wade Pugh; and nephew, D.J. Pugh.
A Celebration of Life is to be announced at a later date. Dignity Cremation is to take place through the HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME.
