Robert L. Taylor, 90 of Baltimore passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at his residence. Bob was born on November 17, 1933 in Mt. Perry, Ohio to the late Thomas and Sara Taylor. He graduated from Thurston High School and retired from TWA, Metro Parks, and Bob George Electric. Bob served his country in the United States Air Force from 1952-1956 in Korea. He was a member of Thurston Methodist Church, the Baltimore VFW 3761 and the Olivedale Senior Golf League.
Bob is survived by his wife of 70 years, Mary; sons, Mike Taylor, Greg (Miriam) Taylor, Marc (Patrick) Taylor, and Curt Taylor; grandchildren, Heather (Zach) Workman, Kiel Taylor, Lindsay (Coedy) Snyder, and Jared (Leanna) Taylor; great-grandchildren, Taylor Workman, Nathan Workman, Jane Snyder, and Henry Snyder; nieces, Rosemary Grile and Susie Wells; nephews, Ted (Darla) Reedy and Carl (Beth) Reedy; many other loving family members, friends, and his church family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his siblings, William Taylor, Wanda Reedy, and infant sister, Lois Ann Taylor.
The family would like to thank the staff at FairHoPe Hospice, especially, Kyra, Sierra, Kelsey, and Chaplain Mark Linn for their loving care of Bob.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at 11AM at the HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME (436 N Broad St. Lancaster, OH 43130) with Pastor Rebeka Maples, Chaplain Mark Linn, and Pastor Phil Miller presiding. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Carroll Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 4PM-8PM at the FUNERAL HOME, as well as ONE HOUR PRIOR to the services on Tuesday.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Thurston Methodist Church (PO Box 64, Thurston, OH 43157) or FairHoPe Hospice (282 Sells Rd, Lancaster, OH 43130) in memory of Bob.
