Paul L. Clark age 81 of Lancaster passed away Saturday, July 14, 2012 at The Pickering House. He was born in West Monterey, PA to the late Delmar E. Clark and Mabel Fair Clark. Paul was a member of Mills United Methodist Church, American Legion Post #11 and Wilmington Masonic Lodge #52. He served in the US Air Force during Korean Conflict and was a retired Air Technician (Boom Operator) from the Ohio Air National Guard after 34 ½ years reaching the rank of MSGT/E7.
He is survived by his wife Betty L. Clark of Lancaster; children, Kimberly (Barry) Adkins of Columbus, Jeffrey (Aprell) Clark of Columbus, Lisa (Jeff Totman) McConnell-Strawn and Leah (Randy) Morgan of Lancaster; 10 grandchildren, Lyann (Jeff) McFarland, Elizabeth (Shawn) Smith, Kristina (Kevin) Hayes, Dustin (Sue Ann) Clark, Tiffany (Jason) Hammer, Owen Atkins, Melissa Clark, Sarah (Kyle Reed) Morgan, Nicholas Adkins and Alyson (Chris) Shaffer; 16 great grandchildren, Taylor, Evan and Lauren Hansel, Casey, Caitlyn, Chayse and Chance McFarland, Trevor Smith, Drake Tackett, Riley Hayes, Emma and Macey Clark, Madalyn and Morgan Hammer, Adyson and Luke Shaffer and one more great grandchild expected in November; brothers and sister, Jack Clark, Judy (James) Hyde, Ed Clark, Jim (Shirley) Clark, Bill (Ellen) Clark and Rick Clark; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by parents, brother and sister-in-law, Gene and (Verda “Tiny”) Clark, sister-in-laws, Carole Clark and Shirley Clark.
Funeral service will be 10:30 am Thursday at Mills Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Rita Brown and Rev. Harold Sturm officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens where the Wright-Patterson AFB Burial Detail will conduct military graveside services. Friends may call Wednesday from 2 -4 pm and 6-8 pm at the Halteman-Fett-Dyer Funeral Home.
