Mary L Shaner

Mary L. Shaner, 85 of Lancaster, passed away Wednesday March 23, 2011 at Fairfield Medical Center. She was born April 16, 1925 in Newark, Ohio to Birdie G. and Nettie F. Garee. She was a member of the Fifth Ave Church of Christ and retired from Anchor Hocking.

She is survived by her husband, James Leroy Shaner, daughter, Linda Sue Waites, grandson, James Waites, brother, Donald G. Garee.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Wendell L. Garee and Elton C. Garee, sister, Lillie P. Kirkpatrick.

Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday at funeral home with Pastor David Tingler officiating. Graveside services will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
