Mary Cox Williams, 100, passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2024 in Abington, PA. Mary was the daughter of the late Ralph Everet Southward and the late Martha Ella McPherson. She was employed as a sewing machine operator by Bishops, then by Barsons, until her retirement in 1996. She was a member of the Benfield Christian Church in Columbus OH. Her grandchildren gave her great joy. Married to the late Joseph George Cox until his death in 1986 and to late Delno Hyde Williams 2006 until his death in 2017. Preceding her in death were her siblings, Pauline Southward Clifton, Herbert Southward, Everet Southward, Marjorie Southward (Louise). Mary is survived by her children, Martha Ellen Cox, Joseph George Cox Jr., William Paul Cox (late Julie) Susan Marie Reilly (Edward), Mary Esther Reynolds (Brian); Grandchildren, Lillian Mary Reilly, Liam Joseph Reilly and Luke Edward Reilly.
Funeral Services will be held at Halteman Fett & Dyer Funeral Home on Thursday, January 18, 2024, at 1:00 PM. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM prior to the funeral. Entombment will take place at Floral Hills Memory Gardens Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Benfield Christian Church in Columbus Ohio or charity of choice.
