Judith "Judy" A Upp

Judith “Judy” A. Upp, 82, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on March 24, 2023 at FMC. She was born February 9, 1941 in Mt. Vernon, OH. Judy loved her family and friends, had a big laugh and an even bigger heart. Judy was known for her amazing quilting abilities, winning many awards throughout the years, was an avid Elvis fan and loved all types of music. She was a member of Grace United Church of Christ since 1974. Judy is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Franklin D. Upp, daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Scott Ross, step daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Larry Schrader, step son and daughter-in-law, David and Aleta Upp, step daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Mark Fallon, grandchildren, Jacob, Lucas, Gabriel, Michael, Max, Emily, Crystal, Jessica, Courtney and Shelby; 16 great grandchildren; brothers, Richard Bevington and Ken Bevington, sister, Mary Clay.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Dwight and Jeanne Youmans Bevington, daughter, Penny Roberds, sister, Peggy Woolison, brothers, Dan Bevington, Ernie Bevington and grandson, Craighton Cook.

A visitation for Judy will be held Wednesday, March 29, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Keith McDevitt officiating. Burial at Forest Rose Cemetery, Lancaster. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Judy memory may be made to FairHoPe Hospice, 282 Sells Road, Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
