Juanita Kay Cook, 76, of Lancaster passed away on Monday, November 21st, 2022 surrounded by her loved ones. Kay was born in Logan, Ohio on October 23rd, 1946 to the late Richard A. and Erma J. Bateman. She loved to read in her free time and loved to watch her Ohio State Buckeyes play football. Kay was a very spiritual individual and was truly involved in her faith. Most of all, Kay was a beloved wife, mother, and nana.
Kay is survived her husband, Sam Cook of Lancaster; children, Kelley Carlisle of Lancaster, Travis Walker of Lancaster and Stacey Gibson of Laurelville; grandchildren, Chase Carlisle of Lancaster, Dalton Carlisle of Lancaster, Trevor Cook of Lancaster, Shade Randol of Laurelville, Katelyn McCarron of Lancaster, Ciera Raymond of Washington, Kendra Carlisle of Circleville and Hunter Cook of Lancaster; great-grandchildren, Sami, Everleigh, Lilianna and numerous other great-grandchildren; as well as many other loving family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Jeffrey Cook.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 28th, 2022 at 11AM at the HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Evan Saunders officiating. Burial is to follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2PM-4PM & 6PM-8PM, as well as ONE HOUR PRIOR to the services on Monday.
