Jimmie E. Ford, 82 of Logan, passed away on Monday, November 21st, 2022 at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Jim was born on April 16th, 1940 in Doddridge County, West Virginia to the late Clifford Ray and Audra Gay Ford. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Elizabeth Ford and his siblings, Erma, Don, Annabelle, Cliftine, Delores, Clifford Jr., Dean, and June.
Jim was a loving husband to his wife of 35 years Hazel. He had retired from Lucent Technologies after 33 1/2 years of service and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Jim also loved antique cars, riding motorcycles and watching Nascar.
Jim is survived by his loving wife, Hazel; children, Teresa (Brooke Evans) Evans, Lora Ford, Sheila (Tony) Peters, and Ken Lewis; grandchildren, Cassandra Linger, Bethany Linger, Alisha Jagger, Myscell Evans, Alexandra Evans, Alyssa Lively, AJ Peters, Kim Foster, Victoria Saffell, Phillip Peters, Michelle Peters, Shawn Lewis, Josh Lewis and TJ Thompson; 42 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Frank (Sharon) Ford; as well as many nieces, nephews, and many other loving family members and friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 26th, 2022 at 11AM at the HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Charles Wheatley officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday from 5PM-8PM at the funeral home. Dignity Cremation is to take place following the services.
