Jim Rauch, 82, of Lancaster, passed away Tuesday April 25, 2017 at his residence. Jim was born September 28, 1934, the son of the late John and Rose (Herold) Rauch. Jim was a member of Pleasant Chapel Church of God, first station manager of WFCO 90.9 and co-founder of the station. He was a US Air Force Veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Janice; children, Debbie Methvin, John Rauch, Chris Rauch, Lisa Krause, Denise Rauch, J.T. Burcham, and Jed Rauch; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings, Jane Levere, Rosie Kern, Betty Oatney and Danny Rauch.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, sons, Todd and Mike Rauch; siblings, John, Tom, and Robert Rauch.
Services will be held 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Pleasant Chapel Church of God with Pastor Steve Rauch officiating. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the church. A private graveside service will take place at Floral Hills Memory Gardens at a later date.
