Janet J Graf

Janet (Pettet) Graf, 77 of Baltimore, passed away on Wednesday, March 8th, 2023 at the Pickering House. Janet was born on October 21st, 1945 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Lloyd Pettet and Helen Ketchum Pettet. She was a Graduate of Millersport High School, where she was a National Honor Society Member. Janet, along with her husband Jeff and son Chris owned and operated Roots Restaurant for many years. She loved tending to her garden and her flowers. Janet spent many hours making planters for her home, the restaurant, and her family.

Janet is survived by her loving husband, Jeffrey Graf; sisters, Patty Bankes, and Ruth Ann Dodson; daughter-in-law, Lea Strawn; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, Chris Strawn; her parents; and her brothers, Jim Pettet, George Pettet and Herb Scott.

The family would like to thank the Basil Fire Department, FairHoPe Hospice and Dr. Singh and the Infusion Center for their loving care of Janet.

Dignity Cremation is to take place through the HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME. Burial will take place at Zion Cemetery at a later date.
