Guy Norris

Guy M. Norris, 85 of Lancaster passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at the Pickering House. Guy was born in Shelby, Ohio on March 30, 1939 to the late Glen and Ruth Norris. He was a 1959 Graduate of Marion-Franklin High School and served in the United States Army as a Sergeant for 6 years. He retired from Western Electric, where he worked as an Electronic Maintenance Technician. He had many hobbies throughout his life. He enjoyed collecting 1939 movies, music and memorabilia. He was involved in amateur radio. He and his wife Connie were avid sailors, taking their 25-foot sailboat to many places, including all of the Great Lakes, the Bahamas, the Chesapeake Bay, and many more. He completed all of the courses for the Columbus Power Squadron.

Guy is survived by his wife of 46 years, Connie Norris; many cousins, including special cousin, Patrick Hill, and his boating friend, Stu Ensign.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, July 8, 2024 at 1PM at the Forest Rose Cemetery in Lancaster, Ohio.
