I am sorry to hear of your passing Jery! I know we will meet again in heaven ,singing our songs together again!

Well you are gone now, but will never be forgotten.  Say hello to Mom and my Christina.  I will miss your calls checking up on me, we were always wondering if each other was doing ok.  Boy, this is hard and Christina would have been 41 tomorrow.  I am so happy you got down Christmas 2004.

Jerry was more like a brother than a brother-in-law. I was 6 years old when he came into our family. I'm 62 now.
  He will be missed very much. The last words we said to each other was I love you. I will always remember that.

Uncle Jerry will live forever in our hearts.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you always.

Jerry was more like a brother than an in-law. He and Joyce married when I was a year old. He had always been in the family.
 When I got the call that he wasn't doing well and it would not be long, I had came to see him. Joseph (Joey) and I came up from Alabama three weeks before he passed. From the begnning of the trip, I was already dreading the good-bye.
 It had been awhile since I had seen Jerry. He had lost weight, was so weak, yet still had his wits. It was a good visit. In between him dozing- we did talk. Mostly about old times. I told him it was his and Joyces fault the family was scattered from Ohio to Florida, he laughed and agreed. I finally told him how I felt like he was a brother rather than a brother-in-law. I ask if he was ready. I a weak voice, he answered- "Yeah, I think so."
 Then came the dreaded good-bye. He knew. His last words to me were, "Now don't. We all have to go through this, it's just one of those things. One day we will all see each other again."
 Death is not easy. To all those who knew and loved Jerry, know that each passing day will fill with warm precious memories. 
 Some of my warm memories are those boots, he always wore, eating peanut butter sandwiches with spaghetti, and singing the words to "May the Circle Be Unbroken" while picking the tune on his guitar. (Mike calls it Jerry's song)
 "Will the circle be unbroken, bye and bye, Lord, bye and bye, there's a better home awaiting in sky,Lord, in the sky."
Listen to the words; "Circle unbroken, better home awaiting".
 Jerry is there now. In a better home, reuniting with those who left before him. We all have to go through this. It's just one of those things. One day we will all see each other again.
 Rest now brother, in your new and better home.
