Gary Boggs, late of Lancaster Ohio passed away suddenly in the aftermath of successful heart surgery. Gary is survived by his devoted wife of 40 years Jennifer (Armstrong) Boggs, son Elliott A Boggs, sisters Arlene Boggs McBride of Lancaster and Maureen Boggs of California; brother Theodore Boggs of Australia; nephews Paul (Jen Bonnell) McBride of Pickerington, Tayelor Boggs McKay of California; Theodore (Ruby& Ignatius) Boggs of Australia, by nieces Krista McBride of Lancaster and Chantal Boggs of Australia, and in-laws Sandra Sherd, Paul Armstrong and their families. Gary is preceded in death by his parents Leslie and Amparo Boggs, by aunts and uncles, and by his parents-in-law. As a Lancaster Police Officer, Gary proudly served his community. He also served Fairfield County as a Deputy Sheriff and in Lithopolis as a police officer. He touched the lives of so many people, some of whom have told him in later years how much they appreciated his help and guidance when they were young. He was an avid bowler and looked forward to getting back on the lanes. Gary’s charm allowed him to make friends wherever he went.

A church service to remember Gary and give thanks for his life will be held at St Mary of the Assumption Church in Lancaster on Wednesday, February 24th, 2021 at 10:30 am.
