Emily Lou “Emma” Schneider, 84, of Lancaster, passed away Friday September 22, 2023 at Fairfield Medical Center. Emma was born December 3, 1938 in Wheeling, West Virginia to the late William Edward Yoho and Dolly Evelyn Fitzpatrick Yoho. She was a member of Maple Street United Methodist Church.
Emma is survived by her daughters, Jackie (Donald) Dayton and Janice Weiland; sons, Jeffrey and Joseph Schneider; 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; sister, Carol Nettles; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Lula Mae Chester, Hazel, and Catherine Poff, son, John Schneider and grandson, Nick Weiland.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens, Lancaster. Visitation will be held from 11 to 1 PM at the funeral home on Tuesday.
