David E Bridges

David Edward Bridges, 82, of Lancaster went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at the Pickering House. Dave was born on August 27, 1941 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Edward and Edith Bridges. He retired from RCA after 32 years and was a member of Fairfield Christian Church. He was a strong believer in Jesus and lived out his Faith. Dave enjoyed playing golf and watching the Ohio State Buckeyes. Most of all, Dave was a loving and compassionate father, grandfather, and husband.

He is survived by his wife, Sharen Bridges; children, Mark (Debbie) Bridges and Ken (Krissy) Bridges; grandchildren, Aaron (Kellie) Bridges, Noah (Marissa) Bridges, and Heather (Jason) Lee and their children, Jacobe and Emma; sisters-in-law, Karen (Bob) Arnold, and Marcia (Glyn) Davis; as well as many other loving family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty J. Bridges; his parents; and his sisters, Betty, Mary Louise, Norma, and June.

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, February 26, 2024 at Wesley Chapel Cemetery at 2:00 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be announced at a later date.
