Cynthia Elizabeth Spires, 57, of Lancaster, passed away in her residence on Wednesday, June 28, 2011. She was born on November 10, 1953 a daughter of the late Donald and Mary (Towt) Patterson. Cynthia was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
She is survived by two daughters, Amber Spires and her Fianc?' Dr. David Rodland of New Concord and Colleen Elizabeth (Kirk J.) Lambert of Lancaster; two sisters, Deborah and Joyce; and a granddaughter, Violet Lambert.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Jay Spires in 1988 and a brother.
A Memorial Service will be held in the Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home Friday at 7 pm with Deacon Paul Deshaies officiating. Friends may call 2 hours prior to the service. A Dignity Cremation has taken place prior to the service. Contributions may be made to Habitat for Humanity, The American Diabetes Association or the Fairfield County Humane Society in her memory.
