Cynthia A. Kohl, 78, of Lancaster, passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at the Fairfield Medical Center. Cynthia was born on October 14, 1946, in Brownsville, PA to the late John and Margaret Harger. She spent her career caring for others as a psychiatric nurse. She was a member of Fairfield Christian Church, where she volunteered her time in the Jail Ministry and many other areas.
Cynthia is survived by her husband, Robert Kohl; siblings, Robert (Sherry) Harger, Barbara Harger, and Jonny (Fred) Farley; daughter-in-law, Rachel VanDyne; and many other loving family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, James F. VanDyne IV.
A Celebration of Cynthia’s Life will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at the HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME at 11AM. Friends may visit from 10AM-11AM on Thursday.
