She had 2 wonderful great-grand children she was so proud of Parker and Elise Lockard. She was proceeded by friends that felt like family that are just too many to mention, but met her at the gate of Heaven. Carol held many jobs starting with Ashland Oil, Ohio Highway Patrol, Title 1 aide, library aide, and even babysat for two children that became very important to her, Bobbie Shiltz and Erika Roesch. But her greatest “job” was a homemaker and mom. She enjoyed traveling, catching fish at Rice Lake with family friends, reading, watching the REDS play, but above all singing. She held the position of song leader at Lockbourne CCCU for many years, sang solos and sang in the choir. Everyone knew this was her passion and calling. Her family was extremely important to her and if she was in Ohio, she never missed the chance to watch the grandsons and great-grand son participate in all their sports and cheering them on to success. If she could leave you with one thought it would be that after you grieve for her, get your account settled with God so you can join her…look for her and share with her what wonderful things God had done.
