Pamela Thomas

February 20, 1949 - May 27, 2024

Born Feb 20, 1949 to Donald Lee Driver and Virginia Elaine Hall, passed into the loving arms of our Heavenly Father on May 27, 2024. She was the beloved sister of Donna Marie Hill and Karen Elaine Reyburn. She grew up in Monrovia, California and was part of the pride of the class of 1967 of Monrovia High School. She went on to California Polytechnic University, Pomona and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Science in 1971. She was a beloved mother to Richard Scott Savage (Katie Savage), Jennifer Lynn Savage Blake (Daniel Blake), and Andrew Lamar Savage (Sonia Rodriguez) and raised her three children on Cypress, California. Pamela was an amazing Grandmother to 26 Grandchildren and one Great Granddaughter.

She began a very successful teaching career in 1987, winning Teacher of the Year in 1996 for Fullerton School District, and worked diligently for her students until her retirement in 2012. She moved to the Antelope Valley area in 2001 and remained there until her final resting place.

Pamela married Steven Martin Thomas on April 12, 2014. This allowed her to welcome Christopher Martin Thomas (Ludmila Thomas) and Stacey Bernice Ogle (Matt Ogle) into her life as Stepchildren. Other than a few hospital stays, Pam and Steve were together 24 hours a day a week. They were exceptionally grateful that Heavenly Father saw fit for them to have one another.

In lieu of sending flowers, the family has asked that all friends and family send a generous donation to the PTA at Columbia Elementary School in Lancaster California in Pam's name. Her family realizes this is what she would have wanted.

Services will be held at the Latter-Day Saint Church, 1701 W Lancaster Blvd, Lancaster, CA at June 12, at 11AM. Graveside service at Joshua Memorial Park at 12:30. A luncheon at the church will follow.
