In Loving Memory of Niles Nieto Nilo, January 2, 1967 – April 1, 2013: loving son, protective brother, faithful husband, and an awesome father. The only son among four sisters, Niles teased them mercilessly, a tradition he continued with his three daughters, Mia, Leia, and Chela. A devoted husband, Niles and Majella were married over 23 years, and could still be counted on to send flowers or raunchy text messages.
Niles worked at Lockheed Martin as an Aeronautical Engineer. He was also an Education Enrichment Representative for Lockheed coordinating activities to deliver high quality Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) to students ranging from Kindergarten to University in the Antelope Valley. Last December, he retired as a Master Sergeant after 25 years of service in the United States Air Force Reserves.
A Memorial Service will be held this Friday, April 12, 2013 at 11:00am.
