RIP: Mary Ellen (Hita) Ontiveros 

Mary Ellen was one of my moms best friends for many years. She had the kindest heart. She was always doing whatever she could to help. When Mary Ellen had only met my now husband maybe once or twice, she insisted on buying green onion to make him some egg drop soup because he was sick. She went in our kitchen and made him what he said was some of the best soup he’s ever had in his life. She barely knew him but that didn’t matter to her. She was one of a kind and truly one of those people who would give you the shirt off her back. We loved her dearly.
