Lois Aberta Wahl

Wahl, Lois: Lois married Richard "Dick" Wahl in 1949, and enjoyed touring the world as the wife of an Air Force pilot. They settled with their children in Lancaster in1969. Lois earned her degree in Library Science from Cal State Northridge and worked in the libraries at AV and Quartz Hill High School for more than 20 years. After retirement, Lois helped establish the library at Bethel Christian School and served as the librarian there for many years. Lois remained active in church groups, enjoyed learning new languages,traveling,and spending time with friends and family. Survived by her son Stephen Wahl of Lancaster, Calif.,daughters Mary Beth (Clinton Jones) of Madeira Calif., Carol Etnyre (Roy) of Anthem, Ariz., grandchildren Justin, Claire and Will Jones and Reagan Etnyre. Services will be held Monday, April 15, 2013, at Joshua Memorial Park and Mortuary, Lancaster. Lois family would like to thank the many people who cared for her during her hospital stays, and are forever grateful for the wonderful care she received at TLC during her last few months of life.
