Jesus R Abad

Born on July 17, 1958 in Jalisco, Mexico to parents of Martin and Maris Abad. He passed away on January 29, 2017 form a short battle with cancer. Survived by his mother and siblings Jose Abad, Irene Abad, Martin Abad, Ignacio Abad, Eugenia Abad, Tony Abad, and many nephews and nieces, cousins, aunts and uncles. Preceded in death by Father and brother, Manuel Abad. Jesus attended Eastside Elementary School and Antelope Valley High School. He enjoyed going to Santa Anita Race Track and Del Mar, playing bingo and trips to Las Vegas. He devoted most of his life to care and provide for his mother after the passing of his father. He will be missed by all who knew him. Instead of flowers, the family asks that any donations be made to the City of Hope- Children's Cancer Research Center in Duarte, California. Visitation will be held Monday February 6, 2017 from 4-8 at Joshua Chapel with a Funeral Mass to be held on Tuesday February 7, 2017 at Father Serra Catholic Church in Lancaster with burial services to be held at Good Shepard Catholic Cemetery in West Lancaster.
