November 2, 1931 - March 23, 2025 Gerry Siegel, age 93, passed away on March 23, 2025 in Canoga Park, California. Gerry was born in Buffalo, New York to Michael and Anna Ductor-Gonzalez, the last surviving and youngest of their ten children. She grew up in Lancaster New York and moved from New York to Florida with her first husband Bob (Robert) Wiggins who passed away. She then moved to Canoga Park, California where she lived with her brother Manny and thereafter, sister Louise for several years. There she met her future husband Howard Siegel with whom she was married for more than 30 years. She moved to Lancaster, California with Howard, living in the same house until just a few years ago and making many friends along the way. Gerry was an active and involved parishioner at a local church, where she enjoyed volunteering for a number of activities.
Gerry was devoted to her brothers and sisters. To them, she was the “baby”, and was spoiled accordingly by them throughout her life. Having no children of her own she adored her dozens of nieces and nephews, and their children throughout the country, who affectionately knew her as “Auntie Gerry”. She was well known for her joyful and comic personality. Her empathy, compassion, faith and fun sense of humor will be deeply missed.
