Donald Bennett Beardsley, longtime resident of Pearblossom California, passed away on Monday, December 25, 2017. Don was born in Nevada City, California. He and his wife, Judy, were married for 59 years. He served in the U.S. Army for two years and retired from the U.S. Forest Service as a Professional Forester after 32 years. He was stationed on the Tahoe Forest at Big Bend Ranger Station and also on the Angeles Forest at Valyermo. Don is survived by his wife Judy; daughter Barbara; son in law Darryl; son, Robert; daughter in law Kim; grandchildren Matt, Jordan, Tyler, Maggie and great grandson Tristan. He is also survived by his brother David. Don was a wonderful husband and father, but especially enjoyed being “Papa” to his grandchildren. He was loved very much and will be greatly missed.
Graveside service will be held Friday, January 5, 2017 at 11:00 am at Joshua Memorial Park in Lancaster, California.
