Betty Jean Henderson - Byrd, born September 23, 1942 in Natchez Mississippi to Rev. Martin Henderson and Mary L. Henderson who proceeded her in death Betty attended Sadie V. Thompson in Natchez Mississippi were she graduated high school in 1961. Betty was the youngest of her siblings there were three brother's Leon, Martin Jr., and Sam three sisters' Josephine, Bessie, and Marquirete. Betty moved to California in 1962 were she met (Benjamin) Joe Byrd and had three children Myra, Monica, and Linda Byrd. Linda was called home shortly after birth. She worked a number of job's a school crossing guard and K-Mart as a distributor. Betty leaves to cherish her memories of her daughter's, grandkids, sisters' nieces, nephews and friends.
