Tim Vogel, age 69, of Lakewood, New Jersey passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2021. Tim was a lifelong resident of Lakewood. He served as a Sergeant in the National Guard, Warden in the New Jersey Forest Fire Service and Fireman with the Lakewood Fire Department, Reliance Hose Company #4. Tim worked for his family business as the owner/operator of D. Vogel Precast of Lakewood, NJ. Mr. Vogel was an avid fisherman, hunter, bee keeper, tinkering but his true passion was spending time with his family, he especially enjoyed their trips to Disney World. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend and will be greatly missed by all.
Mr. Vogel is predeceased by his parents Douglas and Mabel Vogel.
Tim is survived by his wife of 48 years, Kathy, children, Kimberly Conway, Shannon Vogel, Tim Vogel Jr. and his wife Cindy, Jennifer Vogel and Jon Vogel, grandchildren, Skyler, Ashley and Harlee and his beloved dogs Hank, Blu and Bella.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, September 3, 2021 from 2-4 & 7-9PM at the D'Elia Funeral Home 1300 Vermont Ave, Lakewood, NJ 08701. Cremation will be held privately.
