Born in Jersey City, he resided in Jackson, NJ for 35 years, before settling in Brick a year and a half ago.
Prior to retiring, he was a vocalist/guitarist with the group “The Three Chuckles” in the mid-1950s. Their hit song, “Runaround,” was featured on the US National Charts at #20. After the group dissolved in 1958, Tommy continued on in music, performing local venues as recently as 2005.
Surviving is his loving wife of 50 years, Kathleen, son Guy and daughters Gina and Noelle.
Visitation services will be held on Monday Feb 18th from 2-4 pm and and 6-9 pm at D’Elia Funeral Home, Rte. 70 & Vermont Ave., Lakewood. The funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, Feb 19th at noon at St. Mary of the Lake church in Lakewood, NJ. followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Mary of the Lake RC Church, Lakewood.
