Rosemarie "Roe" Baia Dougherty

Rosemarie “Roe” Dougherty, 71, of Brick NJ, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick, NJ. Rosemarie worked many jobs in her life, but most recently she worked as a Claims Adjuster for Merrill Lynch. Rosemarie was very passionate about Baseball and her favorite team was the New York Yankees. Rosemarie was such an easy going and fun loving person, she loved to shop, to decorate, and most importantly she loved spending time with her family. In her spare time you could always find Rosemarie with a good book or taking a trip to the shore with her loving husband of over 38 years James. She was a loving wife, sister, aunt, and was a wonderful friend to many.

She is survived by her beloved husband, James R. Dougherty, Jr., Brother Perry Baia and his wife Mary. Niece and Nephews, Janine, Perry, and Steven Baia. Rosemarie is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 7, 2017 from 11-1 p.m. at the D'Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Ave., Lakewood, NJ 08701.

Burial will follow at the BG William C. Doyle New Jersey Veterans Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562.
