Born in Bisceglie, Italy, she taught sewing to young girls in her home there for many years. In 1955, Rosa and her husband Giuseppe emigrated to the United States with 4 boys, aged 9 years old to 11 months old. They settled in Lakewood, NJ and had one more child, a girl (at last). She raised her family and she maintained her passion for sewing by working as a seamstress for many years. She loved her garden and was proud to share what she grew with friends and family. She loved to cook, and was a master at making meals for any amount of guests, from 2 to 52. Every year, Rosa also made tons of tomato sauce with her family, and helped Giuseppe with winemaking. Rosa loved everyone, she shared her home with friends and family, and she had a tremendous heart. She will be greatly missed.
