Roger C. Ottmer, age 58, of Toms River, passed away on November 2nd, 2016. He was a son, brother, and a dear friend to all that had the good fortune to know him. He was full of life and he loved with a big heart. He was blessed with an enormous sense of humor, always ready with a joke or an antic! He was eager to please his family and friends. A life taken much too soon. Roger is pre-deceased by his mother Carol P. Ottmer and is survived by his father, Robert Ottmer; a son, Justin Ottmer; a sister, Laura Berger and her husband Jeff; a niece, Ashley Berger; and a cousin Michael Fowler. His life will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 12, 2016 at the D'Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Avenue, Lakewood, NJ 08701. In Lieu of flowers Roger's family is requesting contributions be made to the Tom's River Animal Shelter, 235 Oak Avenue, Toms River NJ 08755.
