Richard A. Beers

Surviving is his beloved wife of 30 years Roxanne, His daughters; Jennifer Tambakis, Ginger Distefano & her husband Jesse, Samantha Mayer & her husband Doug. His 5 dear grandchildren; Addyson, Sadie, Deacon, Alicja and Brooklyn and his stepmother; Lorraine Beers.

Richard is predeceased by his parents; Earl Beers and Betty Aptekar, his step-father; Dr. Paul Aptekar and his sister; Patty Gause.

Richard was born and raised in Lakewood, NJ and was a graduate of Lakewood High School class of 1964.

Richard was a big animal lover, especially his dogs. He was an avid fisherman and target shooter. Richard served his country in the Navy and took pride in his service.

During Richards life he previously worked for Sambol Construction and Bil-Jim Construction before owning his own businesses; Jackson Sporting Goods and The Gun Room in Jackson, NJ.

A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, February 23rd from 4:00pm - 8:00pm at D'Elia Funeral Home; 1300 Vermont Ave, Lakewood, NJ 08701

Richard will be laid to rest privately at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery.
