Michael "M.J." Joseph Sarro, age 77, of Toms River, New Jersey passed away on Monday, February 27, 2023. M.J. was born in Rockaway Beach, New York. He was the son of the late Vincent and Carol Sarro. M.J. was an active member of the Lake Ridge community, having been a member of the golf league and bowling league. He is fondly remembered for being a loving husband, a devoted father and Pop-Pop, and faithful friend. MJ was a compassionate and giving man to whomever he met.
M.J. is survived by his beloved wife, Adrienne; his children, Lisa Maglione (Anthony Maglione, Jr.); Michael Sarro (Erin Sarro); a brother, Vincent Sarro (Nikki Sarro); his grandchildren, Anthony Maglione, Brianna Maglione, Teresa Maglione, Brennon Sarro, Jonah Sarro, and Ciel Sarro. He is also survived by his extended family and dear friends.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 9:30 a.m. at the Church of the Visitation, 730 Lynnwood Ave, Brick Township, NJ 08723. Private committal services will follow in the Mary Queen of Peace Mausoleum in St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery.
