Born in Jamaica, Queens, NY, he resided in Bayside Queens with his family for 34 years before settling in Toms River 18 years ago.
Prior to retiring, Maurice was a florist at Steiner’s Florist in Queens. After moving to Toms River, he became an active member of the Men’s Club in his Lakeridge Community.
Surviving is his loving wife of 55 years, Rosemary; 3 sons: Wayne and his wife Tina of Toms River, Marc of Tucson, AZ, and Bruce of Cape Coral, FL; 5 grandchildren: Matthew, Steven, Amber, Jamie, and Stephanie; his sister-in-law, Claire Grossman, and cousin Elaine Schenkerman.
