Maria Dzydzora

MARIA DZYDZORA, 88, of Lakewood, formerly of Jersey City and Cedar Grove, died Tuesday, February 22, 2011.Born in Ukraine, Mrs. Dzydzora immigrated to the USA in 1949. She worked as a designer at the Maidenform Co. in Bayonne, NJ for over 30 years before retiring in 1981. Mrs. Dzydzora was very involved in her church and various Ukrainian groups. She was deeply devoted to her Family, Church, and God. Maria was loved by all for her kind and loving spirit. She is predeceased by her beloved husband of 61 years, Petro, 2007. To cherish her memory, Maria leaves her loving daughter Olga Tchir and her husband Gerry; her sons Oleh and his wife Laurie; Orest and his wife Lucy; her cherished grandchildren Donna Maria, Kristiana, Tiffany, Mark, Oleh Jr., Jonathan, and Orest Jr.; also her precious great granddaughter Makena Maria. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Monday February 28th at 10 a.m. at St. Stephen's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1344 White Oak Bottom Road in Toms River. Interment will be at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery in Lakewood. Visitation will be at the D’Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Ave; Lakewood, NJ 08701 on Sunday, February 27th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Stephen's Ukrainian Catholic Church Building Fund.
