Kenneth Edward Snyder

Kenneth Edward “Ken” Snyder, 85, of Lakewood, NJ passed away peacefully on February 23, 2024. Ken was born in Manhattan to Edward and Dorothy Snyder and married for 53 years to the love of his life, Barbara, who passed away in 2017. He is a graduate of Fordham Prep High School and Boston College. Before going to work at Colgate Palmolive for his entire career Ken served in the United States Army. Ken is survived by his children Paul and Jennifer, daughter in-law Sylvie, son in-law John, and four grandchildren Zachary, Kyle, Sam and Carly. Ken also leaves behind his sister Elizabeth, nephew Edward and niece Janet. Ken enjoyed reading about historical events (particularly the Civil War), accompanying Barbara to art shows and going to Yankee games. “Pop Pop” will be forever remembered for his kindness, generosity, and guidance.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 1 at 2:15pm at the William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ. Immediately following the service, a lunch will be held at the Plumstead Grill located at 457 County Road 539, Cream Ridge, NJ 08514.
