Karen Broderick

Karen Broderick, 54, passed away November 12, 2013 at the Meridian Hospice in Brick. Mrs. Broderick was born in Jersey City, where she attended St. Anthony’s High School before settling in Toms River, NJ. She worked as a lunch aide for the Toms River School District for many years. Karen was an avid dolphin lover and enjoyed her trips to Seaworld. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend and will be greatly missed by all. Mrs. Broderick is survived by her husband Neil, children, Alison and her husband Bret, Neil and his partner Laura, Heather, and Amanda and her partner Chris, grandchildren, Kelsey, Hailey and Neil, and brother, James Holmberg. Friends may call Friday, November 15, 2013 from 2-8 pm at the D’Elia Funeral Home Rt. 70 & Vermont Ave. Lakewood, NJ 08701. Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 15, 2013 at 4PM at the funeral home. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Karen’s memory to the Seaworld and Bush Gardens Conservation Fund or the Meridian Hospice in Brick, NJ.
