John J. Dobrowolski

John was born December 28, 1928 in Perth Amboy, NJ as the son of Antoinette (Sendrowska) and Joseph Dobrowolski.

John was a US Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was retired Customer Engineer for I.B.M. in New York. He was an active member of the Boy Scouts of America serving as a Scout Master for Troop 53 in Fords, NJ for many years.

Husband of the late Martha Dobrowolski, he is survived by two sons, Karl John Dobrowolski and his wife Peggy Lee Scharp, and Richard James Dobrowolski and his wife Kathy; a grandchild, Brittany Dobrowolski; a dear friend affectionately referred to as an adopted daughter, Elena Gouldner, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2020 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at the D'Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Ave., Lakewood, NJ 08701. His funeral service will immediately follow at funeral home. Committal Services after the service will be conducted in the St. Gertrude Cemetery Mausoleum in Colonia, NJ.
