Joan Lillian Lynch

Joan Lillian Lynch, Age 86 of Jensen Beach, Florida loving mother passed away peacefully with her children by her side in Treasure Coast Hospice, Stuart, Florida on Wednesday, May 11th, 2022. She was born & raised in New York City before moving to Palisades Park, NJ, in 2001 she moved to Lakewood, NJ and then later retired to Jensen Beach, FL in 2018.

She is predeceased by her parents, Vincent James and Anna Lucia (Lutzo) Tagliaferro, her beloved husband Donald M. Lynch (1989), her dear son Donald J Lynch (2005), her daughter Donna M. Sailer (2014), and her siblings Salvatore, James Jr and Frances P. Sasala.

She is survived by her dear sister Jeanette Messina. Her devoted children; Daughter MaryAnn Englesbe and her husband Rick of Lakewood, NJ, her son Kevin Lynch formally from Clyde, CA, to Jensen Beach, FL and a son in law, Michael Sailer of Pleasant Hill, CA. Joan is also survived by her cherished grandchildren; Erik Englesbe (Angela) and Tyler Englesbe (Alexa). Joan was blessed with 2 great grandchildren Ava & Evan. Joan is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Joan worked for many years as a secretary at Teledyne Farris Engineering, Palisades Park, NJ and later at Stop & Shop, Howell, NJ

Most of all, Joan loved to cook, and spend time at the beach or pool with family, grandchildren & great grandchildren along with her grand dogs SoCo & Colbie.

A memorial to celebrate Joan’s Life will be held on Monday, September 26th, 2022 with a Memorial mass starting at 10:30 am at St. Mary of the Lake Church located at 43 Madison Ave, Lakewood, NJ 08701. Inurnment will follow at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, One Honey Locust Dr, Lakewood, NJ 08701

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Joan’s memory can be made to St. Jude Children’s hospital or the Jersey Shore Animal Center.
